WHAT IS IT?
Worknhire.com is a freelancing website, based in India (so the base currency for the site is the Indian Rupee). It serves as a job-posting platform, as well as an escrow between freelancers and clients, to protect both parties.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Clients: It’s free for clients to register on Worknhire.com. There are fees to post jobs however. A 200(INR) fee to post a job, and an extra 200 to have the job featured. However, if the client wants to post a private job (for a single freelancer), then there’s a 500(INR) fee that is charged. Once a freelancer has been chosen for the job, the client funds the escrow, and work can begin. The client can manage all current projects to make sure they’re all going according to plan, and as soon as one is completed, after reviewing it, they can release the funds to the freelancer.
Freelancers: It’s free to join. The freelancer creates a profile, and adds suitable information that they feel the client would like to know, such as past experience, skills, and available times. The freelancer then bids on jobs using “bid credits”. Each freelancer is given 20 proposals per month, and (for a fee) they can buy more if they need to. Once the client accepts the proposal, the work can begin. The freelancer asks the client to fund the escrow, and the gets to work. Once the job is done, the freelancer requests payment, and the client releases the funds. Worknhire charges a 5.618% service fee on all invoices.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Worknhire is for freelancers looking for work, with minimal service fees. It’s for clients that don’t mind paying a bit extra to get the job done.
