🤣 - from my student Khaled - thank you!
Today I’m bringing to you an event around front-end development, coding inspiration and CSS tricks to help with focus.
📅 This coming week from Mon-Wed (Oct 24-26) there will be an online conference focused on front-end web dev. Great opportunity for attending amazing presentations. This is a paid event but with this link provided by Microsoft, you can get in for FREE - Don’t miss it!
Even if you cannot go to the whole event, you can check the schedule and attend the ones you would like to.
♾️ This is quite an inspiring article for beginners and written by a beginner dev, which is even more impressive as he provides great insights. It is a light reading. It traces a parallel between life and coding and talks about how get started during a time of financial turmoil and uncertainties like the one we are going through now.
🎯 This article focusses on “focus”! Not “focus” as in “what I’m working right now”, but on web interface focus. For example, when you are typing something in a web form, you have the cursor focused on the input box.
The article talks about how to best demonstrate focus using CSS styling.
My personal update:
-
📮 My postman collection was a mess and I took time this past week to organize and use the collections already provided by Marble, the company I work for.
-
🏠 I was dreaming about getting into a pre-construction apartment, but I give up. I would rather have the freedom of having cash in hand than tying myself with such a high price commitment at this point of my life.

🙏 I wanted to share my daily prayer (the serenity prayer) with you. It helps me to center myself and start the day well:
“God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference”
Cheers, hasta la vista, and bye!
